Terracotta means pottery. It was used as a container for grape wine cellaring in the ancient Roman period, giving the wine a richer taste. This is one of the styles that the people liked at that time.
The Terracotta series reproduces the appearance and style of the wine body at that time, and hopes to bring the pleasure of wine tasting thousands of years ago to everyone.
The wine uses the grape varieties Montepulciano from Abruzzo in central Italy, making a silky texture. The rugged and uneven terrain of the Apennines requires the vines to make more effortss to root for nutrients, thus develop a strong and full body.
After filtration and malolactic fermentation, the fruit taste softer and more balanced. It is aged in a stainless steel tank for 5 to 6 months to produce delicate, concentrated, tropical fruit and spice-rich wines.
